Care Education Outreach

Established under the auspices of the Lubavitcher Rebbe, Yeshivah Centre, has proudly served and enriched the Melbourne Jewish Community for over fifty years.

With donor support, Yeshivah Centre provides a wide range of welfare services, educational scholarships, care for the elderly and youth programs, ensuring the vibrancy and quality of Jewish Life in Melbourne.

These programs are enhanced by the dedication, humanity and expertise of the staff and volunteers who support them.

Care

Through a wide range of outreach programs we provide welfare services that create positive and lasting change for the community’s indigent and underprivileged. With the assistance of hundreds of volunteers, we deliver programs and practical assistance to over 1000 people a year helping to build better futures for the needy.

Yeshivah Centre delivers quality outcomes for the elderly. Our regular hospital, residential care and home visits alleviate feelings of social isolation and loneliness. The results are truly life changing, cultivating community engagement and personal happiness among the aged and infirm.

Education

Yeshivah-Beth Rivkah Colleges and our Early Learning Centres provide excellence in Jewish and General education. With over 1,500 students on five campuses, Yeshivah-Beth Rivkah have an open door admission policy regardless of a family’s capacity to pay fees. The colleges offer programs integrating academic excellence and personal enrichment, empowering students to confidently take their place in society with a strong sense of purpose and Jewish identity.

Outreach

Chabad Youth provides a wide range of services for young people and their families. Programs including camps, weekend activities and university campus events, afford youth with a strong sense of belonging whilst building self-esteem.

Family oriented celebrations of heritage and Jewish festivals foster unity and pride encouraging Jewish people from all backgrounds to learn more about their
Jewish culture.

Yeshivah Centre offers dynamic learning for adults in all areas of Jewish academics, catering for beginners to advanced.

These programs foster a partnership approach to learning with the community at large.
